Rocket Bean Coffee Packaging

In collaboration with Rocket Bean, one of Latvia’s leading coffee roasters, a new packaging design concept was developed for their B2B professional espresso blend line. The task was to create a more contemporary, confident, and deeply nuanced packaging system that would reflect Rocket Bean’s expertise, quality, and the individual flavour profile of each blend. The visual concept is inspired by the northern lights — a natural phenomenon where light constantly shifts, layers, and creates subtle transitions between colour, intensity, and atmosphere. In a similar way, each espresso blend reveals itself through multiple flavour layers, ranging from bright and vibrant notes to fuller, creamier, or more delicate nuances. The dark packaging base creates a professional, elegant, and premium impression, while the flowing colour transitions give each blend its own distinct character. These gradients symbolise the movement, depth, and complexity of flavour, while maintaining a cohesive and recognisable identity across the entire series. The result is a packaging system designed for professional environments such as cafés, restaurants, and the specialty coffee sector, where the design not only communicates product information but also visually expresses the sensory experience of each blend.
